Our vision is successful mentoring relationships for all children who need and want them, contributing to brighter futures, better schools and stronger communities for all.
Our mission is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with measurable impact.
Big Brothers Big Sisters provides children with the friendship of an adult that will grow for many years. Big Brothers Big Sisters is a national and international movement that began in 1902 with the first Big Sisters agency. In 1946 the first National Big Brothers agency began and 31 years later the two organizations merged to form the first Big Brothers Big Sisters of America agency. There are currently over 507 national agencies as well as international programs.
