Core Program

The Big Brothers Big Sisters Core Program consists of one to one and two to one mentoring of a child in need of a friend and caring adult. The goal of this program is to have as much fun as possible while providing mutual support and friendship. By thinking back to those adults or older brothers and sisters who filled your everyday moments with fun and introduced you to activities and concepts, you can begin to understand the meaning of being a Big.

While in the Core program Bigs and Littles participate in any activities they choose such as hikes, bike riding, movies, or simply cooking dinner and hanging out. Big Brothers Big Sisters staff is always willing to assist any Bigs and Littles that may need suggestions.

Big Brothers Big Sisters understands that all participants in the Core program are busy and need some flexibility. We are a very accommodating agency and will provide the flexibility that is needed.
