We live here for the diverse activities that Southwest Colorado provides. The Big Brothers Big Sisters program is a perfect way for you to share these activities with children who will greatly benefit from a positive role model like yourself.
As a volunteer you will share with a child (Little) the activities you enjoy doing. Activities are not the only things a volunteer (Big)
and Little can do together. You two will also have the opportunity
to spend quality time talking to each other and learning about
each other.
Big Brothers Big Sisters offers two programs in La Plata County. These programs are the Core Program and Study Connection, an after-school tutoring program. In Archuleta County, we offer our Core Program, matching caring adults with children in need of a mentor and friend. Your time and interest is greatly appreciated.
